Peer Facilitators

Since our establishment, Immediate Theatre has been committed to providing first-time employment opportunities for young people who are interested in developing a career in theatre, community arts or youth work.

Peer Facilitators

The opportunity is targeted at young people aged 16-25 who would otherwise face barriers to entering further education and employment in this sector. Peer Facilitators are paid the London Living Wage and trained in the principles of safeguarding, drama workshop facilitation and being a positive role model for vulnerable young people. Our past Peers have gone on to further education at Central School of Speech & Drama and Goldsmiths University and employment with a range of arts organisations and education providers. Many have remained in our employment as part of our Estate-based Youth Theatre team.
