    Young Minds offer free advice on how young people can look after their mental health and support for young people experiencing mental health issues.

  • Childline

    ChildLine is a private and confidential service allowing you to talk to trained counsellors about any problem you may be facing. You can call them for free, at any time, on 0800 1111.

    Papyrus (Prevention of Young Suicide) provides confidential advice and support for young people experiencing suicidal thoughts.

  • Headspace

    The Headspace YouTube page has useful videos for young people including how to use social media mindfully and how to set healthy boundaries, as well as guided meditations for reducing anxiety and stress.

  • Live Safe

    Information and support for young people who have been affected by knife crime.

  • Safeline

    Information and support for young people who have experienced revenge porn.

  • Stonewall

    Stonewall offers support and information for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Accessibility at Immediate Theatre

  • Getting to Immediate Theatre

    Entry to Immediate Theatre is via Andre Street – A cobbled street with narrow pavements on one side.

    The pavement and entry to the building is level.

    The entrance door is quite heavy – assistance can be provided upon arrival. If you have any concerns about entry please contact us at info@immediate-theatre.com or give us a call on +44 (0) 20 7682 3031

  • Accessible Parking

    On-site Blue Badge Parking

    Double yellow line – You can park here for up to three hours.

    Off-site Blue Badge Parking

    Pay and display parking available on Amhurst Road. Amhurst road is a three-minute walk from the Immediate Theatre office/studio.

    Quiet area

    We have a meeting room which can be used as a quiet space for anyone wanting to take a quiet break away from the main studio.

  • Lighting and Temperature

    Lighting

    • There are big windows which allow natural light into the office and studio space. We do not have any blinds or curtains that restrict natural light from the windows.

    • The light levels from bulbs are medium to bright. If you have any concerns about lighting conditions, please contact us at info@immediate-theatre.com.

    • Some of the floor finishes are reflective.

    Temperature

    The office and studio are heated, and the temperature can be adjusted based on your requirement. If you would like the space to be a little warmer or cooler that can be arranged.

  • Wheelchair Use

    • We do not have any wheelchairs available for public use.

    • Unfortunately, we do not have staff available to assist with wheelchairs.

    Mobility Scooters

    • Mobility scooters are welcome and permitted inside the studio.

    • If you have a Class 3 vehicle you will be asked to set the speed limiter to 4mph (6.44 km/hour).

    • Please remember to reduce your speed accordingly in congested areas or to adjust to others who may not be able to move out of your way quickly.

  • Assistance and Alarms

    If you need assistance during your visit, staff members will be able to help you.

    If you require a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP), contact James – James@immediate-theatre.com

    Alarms

    It's unlikely that an alarm will sound during your visit. If one does, please don't worry – just follow any instructions you are given by members of staff and make your way to the nearest exit.

  • Lifts

    We have a lift available for anyone who requires it.

  • Accessible Toilet

    We have a bathroom and two separate toilets.

    We do not have an accessible toilet.

    The nearest 24-hour accessible toilets are in Hackney Downs Park.

    Hackney Downs public toilets are a seven-minute walk from our office/studio.

  • Seating

    We have seating throughout the office and studio.

  • Sound Enhancement System / Induction Loops

    There is no induction loop fitted on the premises.

    We do not currently have a portable hearing loop.

  • Service, Assistant and Emotional Support Animals

    • Service, assistant and emotional support animals – including assistant dogs in training – are welcome at Immediate Theatre.

    • Your service, assistant or emotional support animal should remain under your care and control throughout your visit, and ideally should be identifiable as working and remain on a leash.

    • If your service, assistant or emotional support animal is not a dog, please contact us at info@immediate-theatre.com prior to your visit to avoid disappointment on the day.

    • The nearest toilet/toileting area for service, assistant and emotional support animals is located on Andre Street outside our office.
