After the huge success of last year’s schools tour, Pressure Drop, we are debuting Abi Falase’s new piece tackling attitudes towards women and girls, and how male privilege can impact other’s lives. The play will tour to students in years 9 and 10 in Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham and Essex in June-July 2024.

The Hackney and Newham History Social Club is offering a small number of paid opportunities to history and heritage enthusiasts who would like to develop their research and interviewing skills, as well as to more experienced audio-makers, who would like to get involved in making our podcast. We’re also looking for a sound engineer.

Freelance Facilitators | Theatre Exchange
We are looking for people to facilitate one-off taster sessions and short courses (4-6 weeks) over the coming year. Working with groups of older people in Hackney, Newham and Enfield. Workshops will take place in community settings, lunch clubs etc and sheltered accommodation and will take place during the day.
