Youth Board
Empowering Young Voices at Immediate Theatre
What Is Youth Board?
The Youth Board is a dynamic forum where participants from across Immediate Theatre’s youth projects come together to influence and enhance the company’s work. This platform allows young people to have a voice within the organisation, driving positive change and supporting the development of Immediate Theatre’s aims.
Meet Our Youth Board
Gracean
My name is Gracean and the reason I wanted to become a Youth Board member was because I wanted to experience what it was like to be a part of the team behind the scenes and make new rules for everyone to enjoy. Also, I wanted to meet new people out of my Estate-based Youth Theatre and be a leader to others more than I was before.
Megan
My name is Megan. I joined the Youth Board because I wanted to know how to have new friends. Meeting new people can be scary so I want to make it fun with drama. Remember to always try your best! I also want to change how people act within our Estate-based Youth Theatres.
Elise
Nice to meet you! I'm Elise, the reason why I wanted to be a Youth Board member was because going to meetings seemed fun and I like helping out with things around the board. I like getting to go to different places and being involved with a prom. I enjoy helping and planning things. I am pretty excited for the future!
Blessing
I became a Youth Board Member because I felt like I wanted a bigger role in Immediate Theatre. Also, I wanted to meet new people, make more friends, and to overall; have fun.
Temiola
I wanted to be a part of Youth Board because I wanted to share my views about Estate-based Youth Theatres, recommend improvements and just be a good leader. Another reason I wanted to be a Youth Board member was to experience what it would be like behind the scenes of Immediate Theatre and see the difference young people can make.
