Theatre Exchange involves weekly workshops for over 50s to create new material through improvisation and script development. Previous shows have toured to lunch and social clubs and sheltered accomodation in Hackney, as well as being broadcast via Hackney Social Radio.

Previous shows have toured to lunch and social clubs and sheltered accommodation in Hackney and Newham, with plans to visit Enfield.
We are currently running weekly in-person workshops every Monday from 4:30 - 6:15pm at Immediate Theatre's Studio Space. Workshops explore improvisation, performing practices and games to produce work with potential to perform.
Our work has seen the production of various plays, the Hackney Social Radio and Hackney Social Audio podcasts and is now also involved in Immediate Theatre's Voices of Change - a project that preserves and celebrates the stories of Hackney and Newham.
