  • Trustees

    Immediate Theatre is seeking Trustees to join our Board.

    Immediate Theatre is a Hackney based community arts organisation with almost 30 years’ experience of providing quality arts opportunities in East London.  We are looking for people willing to bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our board. Estimated time commitment 25 hours a year.

  • Freelance Youth Theatre Lead Facilitator

    We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and experienced Lead Youth Theatre Practitioner to facilitate workshops for young people aged 10-14. You will lead a team which will include a Youth Drama Worker and a Peer Facilitator (a trained young person aged 14 – 25).

  • Freelance Youth Theatre Support Facilitator

    We are looking for a passionate and experienced freelance theatre practitioner to support our youth theatre sessions for Young People aged 5-14. You will be working with an experienced Lead Facilitator and Peer Facilitators (trained young people aged 14 – 25).

  • Freelance Support Worker in PRUs

    As a Support Worker for the Interactions project, you will play a crucial role in supporting young people as they participate in theatre workshops and performances. Your role will involve providing individual and group support, helping to facilitate a positive and engaging environment, and offering practical and emotional guidance to students throughout the project. The focus will be on empowering students to express themselves through theatre, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.

  • Freelance Facilitators | Theatre Exchange

    We are looking for people to facilitate one-off taster sessions and short courses (4-6 weeks) over the coming year. Working with groups of older people in Hackney, Newham and Enfield. Workshops will take place in community settings, lunch clubs etc and sheltered accommodation and will take place during the day.

  • Evaluator | Creative Connections

    We are seeking an External
    Evaluator to work with us to:

    • Capture the impact of the programme
    • Inform its ongoing delivery
    • Assist in our reporting to City Bridge/West Hackney Parochial Charity and other funders
    • Review whether we have adequate data to align our work with Social Prescribing initiatives
